4403 Crane Courtier - Katisha

My face is unattractive! But I have a left shoulder-blade that is a miracle of loveliness. People come miles to see it. My right elbow has a fascination that few can resist. I painted this Legend of the Five Rings mini for the Reaper Spring Mini Exchange. She is the companion to the Mikado, inspired by the Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta. The "daughter in law elect" has the ear to the insane bard ID #117782 and assists him in his various schemes of domination. I am happy with the white face attempt and the facial details in general. The use of gold gliter to give a special something on the kimono was somewhat effective. (It also is seen on the ground, after all sock nobility should walk among golden paths.)

I don't think I've ever seen glitter on a mini before, it's an interesting idea. Anyway, you really need to work on your photography - this is out of focus. It's hard to tell but I suspect you also need to thin your paints down. And eyes look better if they have a dark outline, either paint a dark undercoat and leave the edges, or *carefully* line around the eye.
