shanys the shadow; 54mm work in progress shot.

hello every-one. this ismy first attemt at a posting so thought i would share a project thats on the desk at the moment. i find at my age that 30mm is too small for me so i tend to like 54's. i like rackham stuff so thought i'd make a larger version of a limmited figure that i own but thats too small for me to paint!(we all get older, trust me on this!!) any-hoo hope you like it, should be finished ina day or two. got lots on the go ,as i always work on lots at once to keep me amused. best regards all,==timo

hey guardian! thanks for the reply, glad you like it. its as you point out ,a little rough in this shot but its a transition stage, the doll underneath is a single piece sculpt and the chest is definined but in the shot shows an appliction of a laminate before finishing has been applied, she now has a finished hood, has a left boot!, the cloak is laminated and finished and she has a left arm too! will post more when she's done, along with others tonite. by the way guardian, love the Syntha stuff you do,are you going to salute06? ==timo

First i just love the face, i think its amazing, the rest is just not as good, but this is a WIP shot so i wont speak of the parts i think are undone, the chest looks good too, a little bit unsharp for my taste, it looks like of you sculpted it in one go, i prefer to do it spet by step letting it cure so i can make sure that the final result is a neat as posible. anyway this is a great piece would love to see it finished along with some other examples of your work too
