Your NMM is beautiful. The cheques are giving me a migraine though. It's not that they're bad, indeed, they are very well painted, it's just that the model is soooooo busy. Obvious skill but this is another case where I think benefit could have been had from more simplicity. Perhaps even larger checques would have made the piece feel better to me. I just feel like you lose some of the detail of the piece in all the patterning. (like the creases in the cloth at the neck of the horse, etc.)
