Yes, the glyphs are very cool. I think your theme is very creative. They could stand to be highlighted more is all.
I haven't been to Egypt, but from what I've read I disagree with TKP. It's my understanding that Egyptians come in all skin types (and Cleopatra was a Greek ! :)
Nice work on those heiroglyphs! I especially like the funerary scene with Anubis and Ammit. In keeping with the egyptian theme, (and to contrast with the armor,) I feel these marines ought to have darker skin and hair.
