Eschelius the Ardent
This is my first attempt to paint a figurine from Rackham. I’ve painted dozens of Warhammer miniatures, but the last time I held one in my hand was about 10 years ago… So give me some credit :-) IMHO the army of the Griffins is usually too dark and sinister (especially their heroes), so I decided to use a brighter colour on this one. I used blue for the overall colour of the armour and I only used grey for the details. Blue is a little easier than grey, so I thought that would be safer… As you can see when you look at the swords, I still need to practice my NMM, but hey, there wasn’t much talking on NMM ten years ago :-) The base got a little damaged at the right foot of the figurine, and I’m thinking of using some kind of hedonistic symbol to cover it up… As usual, the picture isn’t very flattering (I can’t seem to take a perfect picture). Any comment would be more than welcome…
