The Druid's Stone

I attempted to paint this one as closely to Keith Parkinson's original artwork as I could manage. That little dragon on his rock base is a heavy piece of metal - I think I perminently injured my left arm while holding it for painting! =( The base was unfinished wood at a craft shop, which I stained and glossed. There are more views of this model at my webpage.

hummmm. i like it. im not a huge fan of the woman (she isnt up to your usual standard. its probably just the photo but her skin looks "washed out," and the hair lacks definition. the eye shape seems a bit unusual too (not always a bad thing....). that dragon is marvelous though. while i might have been a bit harsh, its still better than i could do. another fine piece to add to your list of achievements.

Great work as always. My only complaint is the base itself. I know you said it was just unfinished (bought it at Michaels I bet). I would have sanded it out better the roughness kills it.
