Amen. these young guys kill me with the "its not GW so its not good" mentality. This is an awesome miniature. And the paint job brings life to the mini.
Crappy mini?! This is a fantastic sculpt, but you don't know what you are looking at. First of all, youngbloods fail to realize that in the old days miniatures were primarily made of lead: a soft metal that barely supports its own weight. Therefore, sculptors had to be very creative, and had to avoid limbs and extremities wherever possible. This miniature presents a long thin character with multiple tentacles, but it does this within the confines of the medium. The detailing is as good or better than any modern sculpt. To say this sculpt is crappy is like saying Chuck Berry and Little Richard suck because they don't sound like AC/DC or Guns-and-Roses.
