I like the design you've painted on the robe, it does have a lizardy feel. The painting of that and the eyes demonstrate solid brush control. Some of the other areas of the model, the steel and face mask especially, would benefit from a lot more shading to bring out the texture and shape. The black axe handle looks unfinished, and blends into his gauntlet too much. People are probably marking you down a bit for the gloss finish, most CMON voters prefer a matte finish. You can use gloss to protect and then spray over it with matte to damp down the shine.
