Skeleton Warrior

I did this one about 8 years ago. I wanted it to look moist like it just crawled out of its grave and started going to town in battle. THe arm is broken due to the force of the blow it just recently blocked, hence the busted shield on the base. I got the rotting earth to look moist by using Testor's plastic modeling glue and basic railroading flock. Please leave creative criticism as I am always looking to improve my models. Thanks

Honestly it does look good (and is a bit humorous to someone who appreciates these things). Me, I would also use a bit of dirt/sand for added texture. If you mix it with a bit of white glue, it looks like mud. Combined with the flock you used, that could look pretty grisly!

I love what you've tryed to do here. A great idea adding texture to a mini rather than just the base. The skeleton looks nitty gritty from the various greys. And the broken bits on the floor is great. Tho I'd suggest to dab the areas on the skeleton with dark green before you add the moss. And it's hard to resist to overdo the texture. But I'd try taking off a few from his leg 'n cheek, and rather use more paint there. Tho the dangling moss from his arm is great. And his base could use more mudd/dirt rather than it all being moss.
