I too like the metallic scheme! It needs more of a wash or shading between panels, perhaps use thinner paint as it looks a bit textured, and finally, a good matte coat to take a bit of sheen off. Nice concept!
I actually like the all-metallic thing you have going on here. Although the colors need more depth. The plates on his body, for instance, need shading between them in order to keep them distinct.
