Hrm, I'm conflicted. I really love a lot of things about this guy, but the general lack of contrast (I'm used to darker shades) and strange combination of lava and static grass on his base leave me confused. Great painting, not so great planning perhaps? Painting takes a lot longer to master though, you're in good shape!
