How can this in any possible way get a score lower then 5!??!?! 5 is tabletop quality, and this thing is definitly tabletop. It looks better then most fielded troops i have seen on the gaming boards. The face is so characterfull, and about the drybrushing, I dont care that much, cause as long as it looks good, who cares for what painting style there has been used? DaN: Could you please tell us why this is lower then tabletop? this must look AWESOME on the gamingboard. Magnificent. So give this thing a higher score will ya? - Frobenius
The painting on this does have some issues. While the face looks pretty good and very intense, the bulk of the painting looks fairly grainy. That sometimes happens if you don't thin your paints a little, sometimes from various spray primer issues. Another colour or two to pick out the detail would also be helpful. I'm giving an extra point to my scoring for the photo. It really has a sense of action, and the composition of the main figure being in focus with background action blurry behind it just plain looks cool!
Paradoxically, the face looks quite good - but the rest of the figure looks as though it's been drybrushed too heavily?
If the rest of the figure was as good as the face it'd get a 5-6
