The overall look of this is very pleasing. I really like the colours you've chosen on the hair. The face looks very nice, and you've done some precise work on the gem. The streaky shading and visible layers on the beige cloth and the sword (and some of the tummy shadows) made me uncomfortable voting an 8 though, sorry. :-<
