Sola, Dwarf Pirate
This came about simply because I was playing around with putting the GW cityfight building bits on bases. Seems logic to put Sola in a "looking around the corner" pose, so I constructed up this little vignette. I ended up painting her in colours reminiscent of Kal Jericho, the Necromundan bountyhunter. It was a pretty subconsious desicion that just felt natural to the miniature. The overall warm, dirty browns throughout the mini pulls it together nicely in a way that I am really satisfied with. The evil sun graffiti is supposed to be a John Blanche homage, but obviously people think it means she is fighting orks.. so I will change that into something else as soon as I have the time.
