You've blocked the colours in well and chosen a good range of colours that are complimentary and haven't gone overboard mixing colours that don't work together. The gems are looking good and the highlights don't look too gritty, excellent work so far! He does look a bit cross-eyed tho :)
Good, nice colour choice, if you darkened up on the edges, where clothing meets a different material, skin, boots, and in between the fingers etc.
Highlight the straps. That would really make him look great. Hope this helps.
