I's better than my 1st figure...
I give you some pointer to get you started. It's nothing fansy pantsy but should give you a better result.
1. Thin your paints - 50/50 water paint - paint several thin layers untill you have coverage.
2. Dont overpaint - make sure you stay inside the lines, and don't under paint either. If you overpaint go back and fix the problem when the paint is dry.
3. Mix a blue+black making it dark blue. Add 1000%water at least - this is a wash. Paint in the wash into recesses in the blue armour. It should be running slightly into the deep areas of the figure.
4. Seal the model with a DULL varnish - if you are already using a dull one make sure you spray from a long distance. Yours look to glossy.
Dont' try to do everything at onece - focus on painting neatly and within the lines. Don't build the paint up to much and you'll be fine. Then check the forums on more tricks.
