For some reason I can't get the highlights on the reds to show up, they definately show in person, but don't seem to photograph well (at least with my setup)
Well the pic was almost black when I took it and had to up the brightness for anything to show. Having some issues getting a good pic, tried multiple things (macro, no macro, natural light, 2 desk lights, 3 etc) May be the camera. I did use some orange in the highlighting of the reds and it's just not showing. The main place you really should be able to see it is on the helmet spike.
You need softer lighting / to illuminate the model more evenly and, overall, a bit less. Also, it works well to use some orange in your red highlights to make them stand out a little bit more.
