Berserk Big Boris

This model was great fun to paint, with a real characterful face and great muscle structure! It also gave me a chance to try painting some pseudo-celtic tattoos!! This is a repost as I actually deleted the last one (foolish boy), but the picture is better this time.... And as usual, comments are greatly appreciated!

I don't think you want to add any more tattoos than what you already have. I think the one on the back might be a step too far. I think the darkness of the skin recesses isn't too bad, but I think it needs a smoother transition from dark to light to be pulled off better. Love the chest tattoo, and the shaved skin color is perfect.

Hmmmm I see a pattern developing... maybe i should tone down the dark recesses to the muscles a bit ;) Also, what do people think about adding more tattoos? would it make it too busy?

I agree with stupidcow that the muscle shading runs too dark. The head however is awesome! from stubble shadow to missing tooth. Nice tattoos. Can't see the hammer clearly enough to judge, but I think I see a flash line on the butt and maybe on the head too. No deduction though 'cause I'm not sure. Oh, and I like the floor. Not too many indoor models here.
