Rhuud E. "The Flipping" Gnome

Ah Gnomes. Yes never a race was so abused in the d20 system. Given the bottom barrel of the classes (and then changed to bards in 3.5E as though to prove you can get worse than a specialist wizard) they have been abused, ridiculed and mostly ignored. Finally a gnome, dressed in the traditional outfit of his ancestors provides the perfect comment to the opinion of gnomes towards those who have designed them so. I thought putting him on a ruined pillar seemed most appropriate, giving him a soapbox of sorts to proudly proclaim his message.

Yes it's glitter. I've been working on three types of glitter on minis, green for a variety of poison ivy or just magical plant type effects, gold, for sequin like effects and the blue for a marble effect. Still trying to work out a happy medium for the application, this case I think the glitter went a little too much into the crevases. (I have another example in progress a very tall pillar for a pheonix which has better results.)

Ah, the timeless message of the bird... nice choice with the pillar. Not just flipping them off, but declaring, "Hey! Got something fer ya!"
