Its interesting painting. And must disagree with Wren. The basing material on legs doesn`t look bad. Skinks lives in the swamps. He maybe sunk into mud ;)
The score seems a little low on this one... he's painted neatly with several different colours, and most areas have some shading and drybrushing. He's based, although admittedly the basing material is also up on his legs, and that doesn't look great. With a little more neatness and a hair more contrast, I'd be happy to give this a 6.
