Vostroyan Banner Bearer
This is the model that i entered into chicago Golden demon youngbloods on saturday and got a silver :) It took about 4 hours to make the base and about 15-20 to paint the model. I think i over highlighted the boots and trousers and the paint looks too thick. The face looks really bad which is weird cos i'm generally better at flesh than other areas. This was the first time i tried using watered down scorched brown in stead of ink on the sword which worked really well. Overall i'm really pleased with it and the silver, and i learnt from it than u can over highlight easisly and now i'll probably do most swords the way i did on it. Theres the games day uk which i'm looking forward to when i get back from holiday here and it'll be my last attempt at youngbloods so i'll be workin really hard on the model for it. Any comments would be much appreciated :)
