Necron Destroyer

The crystals really do glow lilke that (without any help from little lights). It was kind of an accident that worked to my benifit. I had painted the socket where the crystals go white so as to backlite them and they did glow from certain angles but when I did the final spray of dullcoat, unexpected to me, they REALLY lit up. The dullcoat seems to act as a diffuser and more evenly scatter the light comming off the backlighting. Love it!

I especially like the granulation of the metal, adds character and depth to the model.

Your lighting on this is exemplary! Not garishly overdone, but just right. And what a happy accident on the crystals! LOL hope you don't mind if I steal that trick sometime!
