this is probably my best mini painted to date. well by the time u read this then maybe not. i had great fun painting this well sculpted model. i hope u enhoy my first coolmini mini abd all comments welcome
Small critic the model first off is very well painted but that right arm the coils(b\n the upper arm and forearm ) show a thick blob of light blue paint where the shade should be! I can safely say you didn't mean for this it just slipped past your eyes.3 upon inspection happens to all of us when we get a model down to being finished we get model hypnosis which are small things that should be but aren't addressed from us viewing the model for periods of time. But I'm grading on what I see overall and not going to let that affect how I'm viewing this veryvwell,paintwd model. For future to avoid hypnosis take a black and white photo on your models from four sides and look at how things are with this you'll be able to catch these little non deliberate quirks . And always paint with a model light called an ottlight. This is a highpowered "white" light that will show all the detail and if you paint while viewing your models under this light you'll never have to worry about overlooking anything as painting by this kind of light is how pros like us(yiu and me ) get the smoothest, mostvdetailed effects possible. I learned bout this light when I asked tim lison of GW. studio painting team what and why theybwere using this device when picking thebwinners at the north American golden demon awards in 2002!hopebthis helps! 7.8
