This is the first none-Tyranid minature i have painted, the banner is my first made out of green stuff, all the painting on the banner and cloak is freehand and the first time i have ever painted in this way. I was trying to achieve a rusted/worn look on the metal armour and i am extremely pleased with the layered blending on the cloak and under garments. Comments and critisim are welcome.

Need a better pic, but I do like the banner freehand. Some blacklining or shading in the recesses of his armor would help, and highlights/shading of his skin would make it look less "flat".

Il repost a better pic tomorrow, when its light out, this was taken under lamp light so may appear a bit dark. Cheers about the banner im really pleased about it!

Hmm i agree with ascension1223 about the banner. The rest of the mini is hard to judge due to the bad quality of the pic though. However, i think the armour looks pretty flat. It could of course be the pic but im not sure. Re-post a better pic from a different angle so you can see more of the mini itself.
