The Avatar, Ultima 8 Pagan

You have been a thorn in my side for far too long, Avatar. Your two worlds will be crushed. Britannia first, then Earth. I shall parade you before your conquered peoples as the fallen idol of a pathetic ideal. I banish you to the world of Pagan. No one here knows of the... Avatar. The Avatar! This is my humble tribute to one of the greatest games I have played. I played it when it first came out in DOS and I have never looked back, because of this, I decided to make my first scratchbuilt mini a copy of the avatar. This is my second mini for all intents and purposes, additionally, it’s my first crack at sculpting. I have a few comments on my style here. Due to the pixilated nature of the avatar in u8:Pagan, I tried to keep some of that feeling in the sculpture, i.e. HUGE great sword, large belt buckle and I followed the simple and vibrant color scheme of the series. I included pictures of the avatar so you can see my inspiration, as well as a clip from the ending movie that shows him on a huge charred rock, that is my target for the base. Any comments or suggestions are hugely appreciated and I hope you enjoy my work. From WikiPedia: The Avatar's trademark clothing often includes a chain mail, with a white, red or orange tunic (with a golden Ankh symbol on the chest and back) over it, and a red cape. Typically, he's also shown wielding a sword. His appearance varies from game to game and version to version, but usually follows this schema - and it is, of course, possible to use whatever clothing, armor and weapons necessary in the games themselves.

3 on the painting and 3 on the sculpt so an average of 3. The paint is is ok but it seems very plain. This looks like a good first attempt at sculpting(maybe because ive never done it before). Remember man practice makes perfect!!
