first, the pic is really bad. why post such a bad pic? get a better pic of your minis before posting. second, the mini is nowhere near a seven, and all who voted 5 or more have obviously not seen any of the really well painted minis on this site. THOSE deserve seven and up, not this. third, the paint job is very untidy (okay, it might be that you wanted it that way), there´s no highlighting at all, the base doesn´t seem to be finished, and i can´t see any more than three, max four colours. sorry mate, but you´ve got to improve. but don´t despair, i painted like that as well when i was 15, and by now i think i´ve got some decently painted minis.

"The poor Black Knight was stranded in the winter chill of the worse blizzard the land had ever seen." I like it bronze/gold color on the helm and the gauntlets. I think it does deserve the 7. Good work.

Sorry but no holds barred here. First thing to do would be to crop the image and resize it to a suitable size ;) OKay, Now, I am judging on the picture as I cannot see the mini up close so I say that the colors are quite flat and you may highlight the folds of cloth and such, perhaps by drybrushing or layering. Also, the orange or leather saddle and straps seem chipped or not as neat as they could be. The rein one is perfect for highlighting the edges to make it stand out more. Also, I think there is a lot of black or dark colors like the horse itself, the lance and the base! Anyhow, on the brighter side, you can get better with practice and this site should help with all of the great painters and tips :D
