Elmore Masterworks #7 - Zombie Summoner
I painted this miniature for 2006's GenCon Indy painting contest. She took 3rd place in the diorama category, and 2nd place in the Dark Sword Miniatures manufacturer award. Based on a character of mine in a D&D game, she is an Aerenal elf necromancer, after a fashion. I tried to give her a deathly palor to the skin, but had a great deal of trouble with the color correction - the picture is just a little bit too warm. I meant to try to take new pictures once I got home with her, but sold her to Dark Sword Miniatures instead. She is painted with Reaper's master series paints. The zombie is from a Reaper Warlord pack. The base was built with cork and pumice, and the flowers are painted dried caspia. :)
