Wow, gorgeous work, she looks so demonic. I'm thinking something lava for the base. Maybe black cracked rock with fire between. But the other's are right, the picture doesn't really ask for a base.. in person it might look better though.

Really good mini to start up posting here your work!!!! The nmm gold looks amazing, the skintones are great too, good colour scheme and very clean painting. Only thing I don't like are the eyes but I've already told you that. Nice background for the picture so I think it's okay without a base :-)
