Night Goblin Banner Bearer

The alternate title could be "Hell-twisted Spongebob" It's funny that I never noticed it untill somebody on a local board mentioned it. This is my first attempt at some major form of freehand. I'm happy with how it all came together and I look forward to doing more. It was also my first go at the rusty metal look using this technique and I find it came out well. I used GW Chainmail, Vallejo smoke and stippled some VGC#8 Orange Fire overtop. As for the base, I used green stuff for the rocks and painted them with varying shades of grey (VGC) and some GW brown ink. The "grass" was done with small basing gravel mixed heavily with white glue and painted with varying shades of VGC greens. Dig it!

nice banner, but I have to point out that the nose of your freehand "face" looks kinda suspicious :p anyway, good job
