Baldy the Necro

OOP RAFM miniature from what I believe was called the "Necromancers" line or something to that effect (wish I could remember or find a catalog from the time). Now that my new camera is here I've come to realize that I really need to improve my painting techniques and my photography. Comments welcome, my skin is very thick and I don't offend easily.

I can see by the pic that I'm not thinning my paints enough or priming to heavily as you mention the paint isn't perfect... Looks quite rough is my first thought. It's amazing what kind of flaws the camera brings out. By the way... The robe is actually quite dark blue and not as black/grey as it looks in the photo. I've got to work on that. Lastly, yes I know it's more than just the rough paint, I'm not as good a painter as I was 6 years ago or so, havn't really had much practice since then and have gone downhil. Must get back on that horse and get up to the magic 8's, I'll be ecstatic when I get an 8 on a mini.

Great crazy, characterful sculpt. The paint isn't perfect, but the stark scheme works well with the figure and I love the name you gave him.
