Your highlighting is alright but its needs to be thinner and bend more, take your brown base colour and mix it 50/50 with your highlighting colour and paint this around the edges of the armour plates, then take your highlighting colour and run the edge of your brush along the edge of the armour (instead of using the point of the brush use the straight edge) Hope this helps.
