Girls on the Boardwalk

It's a hassle free life for these girls getting a full body tan at a local beach. A nice pillow to protect one from the hot metal strips of the boardwalk while soaking some rays. Technical notes: This is my first use of reaper master series paints, both for the flesh and the hair. Also my first use of static grass; trying to go with a dune grass effect.

Like the idea here, and love the base, but the mold lines on the figures are killing it for me. That is one of the mini painting "sins". Just a few minutes of prep work before you paint will make a huge difference in your scores. I probably would have also removed or at least reduced in size the shackle around the ankle of the seated one.

Tzor, I see some serious mold lines left on their legs and in the part of the one girls hair. The photo looks to have washed out a bit of the contrast in your pic? A trick with that static grass is to fold it in half and cut with a small pair of scissors. The cut ends are put into a drop of superglue. The other ends will then all be at different lengths and look a bit more natural.
