It looks like a new tank, not something on a battlefield. Tanks get dirty quick. Wear points get dirty and worn (hatch handles, barrle bearings, MG swivel boot, etc.) Crews climb up and down and leave boot prints/dirt. Worst, the highlight would not be in the joint, but along the edge of the metal. Keep at it, you've got a great start here or very suitable rank & file game piece.
