What's special about this mini? I hear you ask... Well, like almost everyone who bought it, I decided to remove the hand holding the mithril shirt and add an Uruk Hai sword instead. This meant my first time using green stuff to rebuild the arm (hooray for me). Mostly though, I really like the way the leather came out, especially on the back view. The overall colours are deliberately dark as I was trying to keep the feel of the film. The unfortunate shine is produced by a combination of GW's Matte Varnish and my desklamp :(. Still, let me know what you think...

You are right about the leather, it looks spot on. I am impressed that you even painted individual teeth! And these miniatures are pretty small to start. Definately looks like the Uruks from the movies, I wouldnt want to meet that guy on a bad day, that's for sure!
