Friborus is right ! Only simple Marines was changed in dust because they haved PHYSICAL mutations. Tht champions are Psyker and they are only Psychical mutations. This is clearly describe in Thousand Sons' Index Astartes, in the part title : The Rubric of Ahriman. Here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thousand_Sons The only marines alive in the légion are : the psykers. BC
