Painted for Minature Land, the German Distributor of Dark Sword Miniatures - she will be at DUZI in October 2006! I once again tried for "silver" hair (rather than gray) and I think I was moderately more successful than the last time. Tom Meier simply boggles the mind - there's actually a fairly well detailed snail sculpted on the large rock to the right of and slightly behind the woman.

Excellent face, nice shine at the grey hair and good colour choice at all.

The woman is superb. I also like the base, although the highlights on some of the rocks look a bit stark. The owl bugs me - part of it is the pose seeming unnatural, but I think darker plumage might have been better, so that he detracts less from the rest of the mini.
