Black Templar Neophyte Standard Bearer
I made this for one of my Black Templar squads. I know that Neophytes aren't supposed to carry this heavy guns, but in my own codex Neophytes are always armed with the same weapons as the Initiates (+2 pts for bolters though). I just thought it would be a good idea to show the main conversion before I destroy it with bad green stuff stuff and bad painting. Please comment on this! Some info regarding the mini; The mini is a scout sergeant if (original mini to the right), the sword has been replaced with a banner pole (upper part from the old High Elf Reaver Knight Champion, the other part is taken from the Skeleton Warriors boxed set, the character sprue - the skeleton arm was filed down). The bolt pistol was cut off and the filed down quite a bit - this was the hardest part since I had to change the angle of the hand and the under arm. I will then add green stuff fingers to that hand (something that doesn't show on this pic anyway). I will also add a leather grip to the banner pole in green stuff... That's all for now.
