Space Marine Ultramarine

This is an ultramarine that i painted as a display piece. I used the old colour scheme as I like it much better than the new one. Im quite proud of this mini, it took over 18 hours to paint. Please comment. Your advice and opinions are appreciated. =)

The auction starting price for this model is unrealistic i have to say. For that i'd expect a full squad of these. Not trying to be rude its a good effort, but if anyone bites at that price i'l eat an ork.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was trying to go for a slightly 'cartoony' look. As for the mold lines, try to disregard them. I think the camera lighting emphasised them a lot because they are barely visible at all in normal lighting. As for the base, i didnt want to paint it as i dont really like the look of painted modelling gravel. I think it looks much cleaner and more realistic unpainted. Thanks again.

You did a nice job painting this marine. I would have tried to remove the seams around the mini because they detract a little from the overall image. Also you can improve the shading on the skull for instance by adding a bit more depth than only the skull white over the black base coat. I'd only use the skull white on the final highlights. The base looks a bit too even with the sand particles laid out to evenly. Maybe just some dents and it would be more interesting and add to the mini's appeal.
