no it isnt to dark - i like darker color its snekybite leather (GW) high lighted by elf flesh(GW) Theres many layers but its my one of first painting :D and i am not good painter ;)

I like the old GW-Giant. Your paintjob is okay(your base is really good!), but maybe the picture is to dark.
