This is my first broadside of my Tau army. I've painted it using a mix of techniques of fantasy mini painting and military vehicles. What's all that ruckus about that Rizzo guy? Javi weathered ALL his 40k stuff years before the Rizzo kid come out of the Games Workshop Advertising Catalogue (aka White Dwarf) whith a bunch o' bad weathered Tau stuff. Just search the Javi Gallery and see the publication dates before judging so lightly an original work: Javi was first doing the technics, Rizzo was first published on the oficial mag, but years before Javi started blending military modelism technics on fantasy CiFi models.

Thank you all for you feedback. Hubbabubba: I'm NOT inspired by Bruno Rizzo. I'm painting military vehicles before 1980 And this is my own painting style. Since Rizzo published his army in the WD I'm have to ear every day that I'm copying Rizzo. This Broadside was painted just after the first Codex Tau was launched (in 2001 if I cn remember), this year I've just changed the base adding the stone and the water, and added green to the mini, that's all.
