Its quite a good start, you've got the shading started and it looks good, try another highlight level. Use goblin/scorpion grren on the goblin and a mix of blood red and fiery orange on the squig. Also clip away the support pole on the base to foot, the other foot should hold the model in place, and get some flock or paint on the base.
Good attempt though, and im sure over time you will improve, keep it up.
