The Crow - Le Corbeau

A great little figure, excellent for practicing NMM, and thx to all the guys on the Rackham-EN and Uk-Cord forums for helping me with that. I'd also like to thank Atacam for inspiring me to try the OSL similar to his version here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/78538 I don't think mine worked anywhere near as well, but I'm still fairly happy with it for a first attempt. And I expect trying to do it on copper is a bit harder that a grey/steel surface :)

Thanks for the feedback. I think I've almost the the hang of the "more contrast and concentrated blending" thing that NMM requires. As for the face plate I thought that it would be quite easy to do the light sourcing having read a couple of articles on it. Boy was I wrong, might just be me but was as hard as painting any small eye on a figure, just that I had to do it 10 times !! :)

nice one mate, the copper metal is great - the oxidation reallyt nice, subtle. And the sword is great too! nice base also.

9! for the great glow on the helmet holes. all the holes are done really well. and the bronze nmm is nice too with patina/verdigris which is just right (not too strong).
