Heritage Dwarf

Anyone who has seen my gallery knows I like old minis. Here's another one. This dwarf came from a Dungeon Dwellers set put out by Heritage sometime in the late 70s or early 80s. I thought his shirt looked more liked quilted armor than mail, so I tried to paint it that way. Also my first attempt at sculpting flagstones. Thanks for any comments!

Excellent choice of colours and great basing. As a dwarf of this age and pedigree, I'm sure he's much smaller than what we call dwarf minis now! The pictures are a bit blurry, though. :-

6.5 I like the irregulaarity on the flagstones plus its color. Looks like it has abit of green and brown glazes over the grey :) His clothes sure look better that way (looks a bit like snake leather) than metallic- chainmail.

Dwarf: good. Flagstones: very good. Photo: fuzzy :( Try backing off a bit with the camera. Anyway, if he's from the late 70's you did a good job just making him presentable - this is probably one of the oldest minis on the site and they didn't sculpt them nearly as well back then! (as we well know)
