Ilyad Giant Black Orc Champion
It's too bad that these guys went out of business... they do make some neat figures! I can only imagine how heavy this figure might have been if it were metal :-) It is mounted on a 50mm base, if that give a better idea of how massive he is. There were a lot of hard to reach areas. Suprisingly, one of those places was the top of the helmet. It was very difficult to get a stable grip on that and balance the brush. I think it had to do with the sword sticking straight up in the air, keeping me from getting much closer. It's always fun to do the copper patina, but even more so on a figure with such large dramatic surfaces.
