8.5 - I really like your painting style, this is a great mini, very precise and neat painting, and very good colours. I love that colour you have used for the sort of dull brass metal, it's very nice! Really good work on most of the NMM too, especially on the details like the sword on his back. The score you are receiving is harsh, but I think you could do a couple of things to easily improve your score: try increasing the contrast on certain areas of the mini, especially the skin, and some of the brown shirt parts, such as the sleeves/ These parts look a bit flat at the moment, and would benefit from some increased shading/highlights I think. Also, the base could use some more work - it's a bit boring at the moment...you could try to add some different colours or textures to break up the grey stone a bit and give a more pleasingg appearance maybe.
