Well, here's my first attempt at a scenic base using bits from GW's new kit and water effects. I'm reasonably happy with the overall look and feel of the piece but please let me know what you think by leaving comments... please ;) I know the pictures aren't great but it's a borrowed camera and the best of a bad selection. Thanks for the feedback guys. I deliberately went for more contrast on the mini as my photos usually dull my minis down too much (I'm not good enough with photoshop/camera work to get them looking like they do IRL).
