Poste Militaire - Samurai Accessories

Several years ago I did some of the 90mm Poste Militaire samurai figures for my brother but this set got left in it's box. I finally decide to get it out and having spent the last year trying NMM, going back to metalics for the helmet was really quite fun. I should probably mention it's not painted after any specific historical piece. I got the idea for the cloud/wave pattern from some L5R books. Thanks for looking, all votes and comments are appreciated.

The "Steel" was a coat of GW Boltgun Metal over a white undercoat, then treated with thin layers of VMC Bronze Green and VMC Oxford Blue for shading and tinting it. The Darker steel areas were basically the same but recieved some extra layers and a little bit of added black. I think the crest was based with GW burnished gold, then highlighted with an old humbrol gold which is quite light and with a tiny amount of GW Mithril Silver for some extra highlighting and GW Tin Blitz for the shading.
