excellent technique and solid, clean freehand.
There's a few criticisms I have though.
Where the scabbard meets his tabard (lol rhyme) it looks.... odd. Something about it just does not look right. The skull above his head is also a little lackluster, could use some deeper shading (like the ones on his belt which are excellent) and his sword could be a little more... glowy? bright? not sure how to put it into words. As it is it just looks red. A very nice red, mind you.... but just red.
some of this is just personal opinion though, everyone has their own style. Keep up the good work and until next time, keep your brush on the model ;)
