Not bad at all for an early effort. Like Thecadian said, it's very neat. Just get some shading on there! The simplest way would be to mix some red and black ink (diluted) and brush it into the crevices.

OK, it's your first SM and it has potential. But you need to take some lessons, check out the Forums here for Painting help or basically any Hobby site will give you a Painting Help Forum. And the very first bit of advice is "Thin your paints" You have a nneat painting style and thinning them a bit more will make a better mini. Then learn the shading.highlighting tricks and you'll have a very presentable table-top mini! You also have a sprue line running down the bolt pistol, and this does detract from the mini's appearance. You get a 5 for effort from me as this is very nearlt Table-top quality and you just need some small improvements to get a far better quality.

OMG this is extremly underated. The painting is Very neat and the paint dosnt look to thick. to inprove it i would make the warning stripes a bit clearer and more defined. Also consider some other colours for example on the shoulder pad.One final thing try and base it. look around on this site and the Games Workshop site for tips and keep posting!! :)
