Skink- before and after dipping

This is my first try with dipping and I'm happy with it, the Skink looks good enough for an whole army i think. At least for standard troops. For germans (i buy the dip at my home town in germany...): The "dip" is called AQUA Combi-Clou Wasserverdünnbar, Lack Lasur für Holz Gibt es im Bauhaus, für ca 8,50€. Falls jemand Interesse am dippen haben sollte. Ich habe die Farbe "Kastanienbraun" gewählt. Man sollte die Lasur auch immer mit etwas Wasser verdünnen. Wem die Figur zu stark glänzt danach, der kann Mattlack drüber sprühen, das klappt sehr gut.

i like it. in fact not the way but final effect is important;) I'm sure what whole army would look really nice on the table. Now it needs only base ;)

Looks a little too dark for my tastes, not lizardy. Perhaps shake a bit more dip off, or add a brighter highlight layer before dipping?
